The guy obviously didn't give a shite about playing and just coasted until he could get into the NBA. He could've owned college basketball for the one year he was here but instead he put out about a 50% effort.

Apparently none of you have seen “One and Done” with Ben Simmons in it. He hated LSU. He hated college. Go watch it before you make assumptions how great of a tiger he was. Those words came from his mouth.

So talented, amazing we didn't even make the NCAA tournament with him on the team much less some of the other talent that was on that roster too.

Meh, he was a teenager and forced to have to play somewhere before being able to make millions. If he had any relationship with his coach he would have more of a connection to the school and his time at LSU. That's a failure of Johnny Jones. I don't hold much weight to what an 18 year old thinks, he'll probably grow up and figure it out. Plus LSU athletics still profited from him coming to LSU even though they didn't accomplish anything in terms of winning.

The NBA blocked him. Neither the NCAA or LSU made him go to college.
