quote:ok, but couldn't They have just prevented the fall in the first place???
Praise Lord Jesus and Father God he’s going to be ok.
Would've prevented a lot of pain and trauma.

Did you not watch the video?

That’s a fair question. In my 49 and 1/2 years on Earth I’ve learned that the evil force is very present and does cause a lot of bad things here in the short term.

D u know more people fall from set attached stands that anything. A bunch of people fall from rotten straps so a lot of bow hunters etc, check over their stands in the summer

He doesnt remember falling? Probably wasted
i got a sever concussion playing high school football 30 years ago.
to this day, i have absolutely zero recollection of anything that happened from the Thursday (night before game) through Sunday (2 days after game) evening.
i woke up on that Sunday thinking I fell asleep after school and was going ti be late for the game.
Needed my parents to tell me the game happened 2 days prior.
if not for watching video of the hit, i probably still wouldn’t believe them.
because that roughly 3 day stretch simply does not exist in my mind.
it’s just gone. literally nothing that happened in those 3 days ever happened in my brain.
i went to sleep Thursday night and woke up on Sunday thinking it was Friday.
I allegedly went to school Friday. allegedly rode the bus to Assumption.
allegedly played in that game.
To this day I couldn’t tell you a single think that happened at school that Friday.
or the bus ride.
or the game.
or anything on the Saturday.
or half of the day Sunday.

I doubt very seriously he was drunk, probably went to replace straps on a hang on and it busted on him. That’s the most common way of falling by far, those damn straps

Is Deer Season open in July in the state of Louisiana? Just asking for a couple of poachers! LOL

I’m with ya. He’s a mature, responsible person that wouldn’t go 25 feet up if drunk. I ain’t climbing shite when I’m drinking, and I’m extra careful in general when drinking.

I believe in some states folks put corn out during the summer to get the deer coming.

They crazy arse bow hunters go out in July to get all their shite ready for lard September when it will still be in the 90s and full of biting insects. I am old to sweat my arse off deer hunting

He’s okay because he landed on his head. Probably messed up his flat top.

Excuse my ignorance. I'm more of a fisherman. I'd imagine you guy's tie off to the tree itself then, right?

Thankfully he’s not injured more seriously. I’m older than Ben and still bow hunt from lock-ons but for the past 20 years have used retractable yo-yo’s to tie-off my harness lanyard. So from the time I leave the ground, I’m tethered. Fk falling. I really can’t believe he wasn’t tied off.
