Beloso to the bench

I have been clamoring for a month to put beloso on the bench. Are y’all ready yet or we still holding on to 2019?

I’m totally ok with putting drost or even travinksi in and telling them to only look fastball.

Well he was benched and they felt like they found an improvement they could make to his swing during that time. If that line drive down the line was fair a scored a run then would we say Beloso can hit?

And Mainieri put him on the bench. He’s going to keep giving different guys opportunities to DH until one gets hot and grabs the position. That’s smart baseball.

Lester, don’t think he is. Beloso is batting .200 and was benched for one game and somehow smart baseball Paul has figured out his swing. Too bad since it was figured out he’s only batting .100

The issue is who else do you have? All the rest K 2 out of 4 times at bat

Maybe it was the hitting coach, Eddie Smith. Despite no increase in hits, his approach has actually looked better. It’s only been two games.

Wouldn't the 7th inning, with a right hander pitching, we had two runners on base and Belosi at bat. Wouldn't that have been an excellent opportunity to pinch hit Drost.
Belosi squandered another opportunity.

We arent going anywhere this year if beloso cant figure it out. Not sure we have a better option behind him. Travinski is too inconsistent. Drost needs to be in center

Mainieri's affinity for fellow paisans is killing us. The four Italians (Beloso, Bianco, Milazzo and DiGiacomo are a combined .191 at the plate.
