Yep. Guaranteed if I start mass producing and selling LSU T shirts purple and gold it would get shut down with the quickness

I don’t remember if it was by LSU or Air Canada, but when Matt Canada was OC, didn’t the guy selling purple and gold shirts saying Air Canada(using their logo)get shut down pretty fast?

LSU is the acronym for the stable name. By choice their color silks are P&G, possibly their favorite colors. Unless they used the Tiger head logo on the silks then there’s no infringement

This is comical. It says LSU and is in purple and gold. C&D have been sent out to a ton of small biz owners over less of an affiliation. I’ll just start selling LSU shirts and say it’s about these stables.

I'm sure a court has deemed it so because if you've ever run across LSU, anything having similar colors and anything close at all to anything resembling anything LSU has copyrights gets a c&d. I've seen it.

We'll probably get an award from LSU," said Larry Sarf, who explained the LSU stems from his wife Leslie (L), Sarf (S), and a Distorted Humor filly (U, with the H dropped from Humor).

So the acronym is completely forced, and they still pair it with the P&G?

ose Ortiz is riding Honor Marie in the Belmont. He’s donning the purple and gold with LSU on it!!

That's not Honor Marie's colors. I know the owners and they are huge Hog fans and wouldn't allow it. They live in Texarkana. Ribble farms. Colors are orange and blue.

Alot of the jockeys at various racetracks that we go to are from Louisiana. We always bet on the Louisiana jockeys. Some of the horses are trained in South Louisiana and the jockeys follows them.

LSU AD almost has to write a C & D to preserve its rights here or it allows dilution of the value

Y’all overthink everything. Most dolts out there don’t know that this isn’t related to LSU. Any publicity is good publicity.
