That was year ONE, we also rallied to go 9-3 that year btw with a team and QB that was VERY limited. BEBE beat more top 10 teams in 2018 than BK has in 30+ years as a head coach. So you can tell me BK is elite and an upgrade but the facts/results clearly don't back that up.

THe problem with this board isn't the pumping of Brian Kelly, its the pumping up of Jayden Daniels that was completely off base. Daniels is locked in on who he is. Unless he has some stratospheric awakening he will manage LSU to no more than 9 wins.
Kelly must also turn around recruiting if he wants LSU to compete with Georgia, Ohio State, and Alabama year in year out. the floor is top 5 class with 3-5+ 5*s each year for at least 3 years.

LSU won a Championship in spite of Orgeron. I'll give him full credit for getting Burrow to LSU. Saban left Les with a full cupboard, Les left Orgeron with a full cupboard, Coach O left Kelly with a full rebuild.
