I know there have been a million threads about it, but I just don't understand what else we could possibly want in the HC at LSU. I actually want Coach O to get the job regardless. How many boxes have to be checked?

I always find it interesting that watching one team beat another the year before you commit can influence the decision of which institution you are affiliated with for the rest of your life....

You better watch out, I have a buddy that was banned for making that same comment on the recruiting board. Apparently it's a huge sin around here to say anything negative about him.

Maybe "adults" shouldn't be shitting on high school kids. Or justifying those who do.

That's silly. He had a relationship with Les since the 8th freaking grade.

If O flips him back, it is a statement that Louisiana is officially locked the frick down. Gone are the days of losing the Landon Collins and Cam Robinsons.

The importance of having a native son lead this program with the obvious passion O has cannot be overstated

If he doesn't want to come to LSU because a coach isn't here then he is not a true tiger.

I see non-LSU targets and/or commitments get shite on all of the time on the recruiting board. However if there is a kid that LSU is targeting and a poster says anything that is remotely considered as a critique, then that poster is banned or put in timeout.

Personally I try and away from the recruiting board (although admittedly I don't do a good job) because there are too many self-righteous fricks over there for my taste. Especially the admins who think that the recruiting board has influence on a kids college decision.

I wouldn't have sent my kid anywhere. I would have let him choose where he wanted to go. I'm a tiger fan. Doesn't mean my kid has to be

This is real life. Fan loyalty isn't that important in the scope in which kids chose schools. Like everything in life, it's all about relationships with people. If he was your kid, and we were in the 3rd year of the Hallman era and you pushed your son to go to LSU, regardless of the relationships he's fostered or what could be best for the goals he has set to be successful, you'd be a terrible parent.

If you are good enough to play at the next level, it doesn't matter what coach is at a school.

Yeah, a kid should go to Purdue if his family are Boilermakers. Winning is important. Its not just about the NFL

If coaching mattered that much to these athletes, then Les Miles is the best coach in college football because he has the most active players in the NFL.

You keep getting hung up on family members pushing their kids. Let your failed career go dad. It's about the kids and where they want to play regardless of family desires.
