BCS titles

Why when the media talks about SEC football and BCS they say Fla has won 2, Alabama 2, Auburn 1, and LSU 1. Didn't LSU win in 2003 and 2007?

Tennessee has one too, so if they are leaving out Tennessee, then has to be the recent streak they are referring to.

Show me the SEC team that won the BCS the year after TN.
That's what the OP is asking. Consecutive SEC NC streaks.
I do agree with the OP regarding our BCS championships. You generally hear 1 and then a "shared" title, which is complete BS.
If there's any debate, the crystal footballs for both years are in Baton Rouge.
Didn't USC have to forfeit that win or something? They got a dumb AP trophy for it, similar to what tOSU is whining about.
I'll take the crystal footballs.

TN won the BCS in '98. 4 years went by until another SEC team won, us.
If you want to count all the SEC teams to win the BCS, sure, that's the case but not in consecutive back to back to back to back etc, SEC wins as the BCS champion. I think that's what the OP was getting at.

If you are referring to 2003, no. That was in 2004 they had to forfeit.

Right, I get that. But on another note, give LSU the credit it deserves as far as BCS championships are concerned. I've seen it referred to as 2 also but sometimes it is referred as a "shared" title which is garbage. Show us where the crystal football is. Done deal. Just the media stuff.
I thought USC had to forfeit that AP title, but I was off by a year.
But I do agree, it's regarding the current streak. I read the other post wrong.

I wasn't at the game however I was very close. I wanted to see what was going to happen in that PAC 12 championship game so I was watching that on mute but I watched the Barbe game on the computer.
It froze up near the end of the 4th, so I walked outside and could hear the yelling from Barbe. That was unreal. Absolutely unreal. We need to get that kid Quinn. He's already tough, imagine him after Moffit works his magic.
I've been digging around for my class ring. I know it's here somewhere.
