Asking the proverbial What If question of, "What if Oklahoma State is the only undefeated team, which 1-loss team gets to play them?" is intriguing. No one would go with LSU. Craig James says Arkansas.
LSU will get thrown under the bus the second it loses. LSU would be the LAST 1-loss team to get to play in the NCG, it appears.

Bingo. Some of this info actually
disputes stuff they have said in the past.

This has gotten absolutely ridiculous. I'm changing the channel.

Craig James is an idiot. He is contradicting himself. All he talks about is body of work. And LSU has played the toughest schedule but apparently 1 loss Arkansas is still better than 1 loss LSU.

Pony is an idiot. In that situation you would have Arky, LSU, Oregon and Bama. The SEC schools would be 1-1 against each other. Tiebreaker is our win over Oregon.

Robert Smith, "LSU is only there because Alabama didn't take care of business and a fluke INT."

Robert Smith: Alabama is in its position bc they didn't take care of business at home. Wow these guys are rocket scientists.

LSU is the measuring stick- James.

Pretty much their thoughts are if arky beats lsu we would drop out of total contention

Apparantly our wins @ Alabama and vs. Oregon would not trump the others. I mean, beating the No 2 and 3 teams aren't anything to be proud of. The last game should be the only game-changer.

Don't forget...we really didn't beat Alabama...it was a fluke...special teams...only won by a mere field goal and had to go to overtime to do that...plus Bama is really the better team...

WTF is Robert Smith talking about? So, LSU would drop behind Alabama and Oregon despite beating them...
Yes. What other team in the country has beaten two top 5 teams. None but LSU!

What they're saying may suck to hear, but it's true:
Unlike 2003, and 2007, is LSU loses a game, they will not play in the NCG. Period.
If that's not motivation for the team, nothing is.
