Imagine an organized effort to help our football program on this site.

This thread as well as the last 10 threads about Bayou Traditions proves that posters on this site would rather bitch, moan, and complain about ticket prices than to actually donate $25 to Bayou Traditions in an effort to help LSU athletics. You'll always have assholes who enjoy pointing fingers more than being part of a solution.

Whoever wants to donate and help out can and will do so on their own. It's not until a Joe Burrow, Honey Badger, Paul Skenes, or Jayden Daniels comes out with a concerted effort to help by asking fans to donate that these "fans" will actually want to donate because then it'll be ok since so-and-so said they should do so.

Our fans are mildly retarded. Adults who want to help know how to go to the site and donate.

LSU needs to drop all season ticket prices by 5%, basically what they raised them by this past off-season, take that 5% and route it as a "donation" to Bayou Collectives, like they do with the Tradition Fund "donation" for season tickets.

Anyone have any idea how much of every dollar donated actually goes to buying players?

Haven’t looked into it, seeing if any of y’all might know

“Or just tack on 20 bucks per ticket”

I am already paying over 5k a year for the right to purchase season tickets at full price to watch high school games with occasionally college ball.

I will go but I am maxed out ..

First of all 102k around all Tiger fans that includes visitors. And around 75k are season ticket holders of which like me have multiple seats (6) so the math doesn’t work and not as simple as all 102k gives

Here's an idea. Everybody quit caring so much. The kids are making way too much money. Just let BK offer what he thinks they're worth and if they go somewhere else for more so what. And however many games that wins, cool. I have zero interest in trying to raise more money for a system as dumb as this.

Is this not the reason we brought back Austin Thomas from OM along with the Lindsey fella? I’m reading good ideas in this thread. You’d have to think that these guys have at least brought up some of these ideas. It’s obvious though from CBK’s presser yesterday, that some of the big donors simply do not want to pay these crazy amounts to high schoolers and I don’t blame them.

The website sucks and is hard to navigate to set up recurring donations...

Every LSU athletic department website sucks. Have you been to LSUtix.net as a season ticket holder and try to find your ticket order or how much a ticket face value is? 14 clicks no idea where to go. Have not updated in 8 years. TERRIBLE.

I’m not giving a dime. End up paying a kid to just transfer 2 years later. Sorry. LSU took away legacy scholarships. They get zero from me now. Why would any alumni who paid for 4 years of college give more money if it doesn’t help them in any way.

Bayou Traditions NIL Collective

It's that simple. And their advertising is brutally bad.

I'm sure a substantial portion of Tiger Stadium could afford to contribute $100 a month.

Think about that for a second. If i have 4 tickets, not great tickets, but season tickets nonetheless. They're $4200 a year for 7 games. Not exactly a small chunk of change. Now, I have to pay for parking passes, extremely subpar concessions for when I'm in the stadium. That's for 4 people now, so anywhere from about $40 to $200 a game depending. I'm not even going to factor in tailgating costs, since it's not actually involved in the game, but now you want me to add $4800 a year when I'm not getting anything tangible in return for my increased investment?

lots of fans on twitter are saying they have the same issue. one person made a great point that if every person in tiger stadium 102k gave $10/month, that'd be $12M a year.

How about this, every person that doesn’t have tickets must pay $50 PPV to watch per game and will go to the collective.

Everybody that watches at home has no problems telling people that have tickets to spend more. I’m spending 5k for 3 tickets and they continue to go up.
There is a ton of crying on here about the regular fan being priced out, this isn’t helping.

Do you realize how much money LSU gets from TV revenue and ticket sales? It’s a huge amount.

Maybe LSU should use that money to spend on NIL instead of coaching salaries that get bought out, equipment/facilities these ‘amateurs’ get to use…and stop asking hard working Louisianans to fund their empire.

I thought Austin Thomas was suppose to be on top of this.

I guarantee you most people would donate 10$ if it was easy and they knew it was going to the sport they wanted.

You missed the boat on my post. I’m aware of how much money they get, but most also fail to realize how much they have to spend on non-revenue sports as well.

My point was it’s real easy to point at the people in the stadium and make them pay. How about people pay at home too or shut up.

You’re asking people to pay $50 per game to watch at home.

I’m stating that lsu gets a huge amount of money from their TV deal already, so it’s asinine to ask the casual fan to pay even more.

Pretty sure this illegal.
