Wow. The portal is packed full of Baylor guards.

Any mutual interest in Chrislyn Carr or Jordyn Oliver? Oliver was a bench player at Baylor but would certainly add good depth at LSU.

Carr is a Texas Tech transfer who never actually played for Baylor or CKM but was an All Big 12 honorable mention last year and 2019 Big 12 freshman of the year.

Shoots 44 percent from the three and a 90 percent FT shooter. She would be a good get.

Baylor transfers

ULM has nursing program, plus she’s there kind of talent, good not quite elite

I cannot imagine that Moon Ursin, who starred at Baylor, would have any interest in playing for a sorry Sun Belt program that went 3-20 and 1-19 in conference this past season.

Whether LSU or somewhere else, she’ll find a nursing program at a school with a much better WBB program than ULM.

Headed to Duke, but the Trinity Oliver is available although she isn't a flashy player but just was a role player at Baylor

Carr

Is headed to Syracuse (announced yesterday)

Only Baylor transfers looking for homes right now is Trinity Oliver and Moon Ursin as of now.

Is there enough WBB talent each year to make the tourney/sweet 16? And all Mulkey has to do is bring in 1 or 2 out of state ballers each year to be top 5 and NCAA favorites?

If Kim can lock up Louisiana, that will go far. And I would think CKM would be the odds-on favorite to get any player in the country she really wants.

She made the tournament every single year while at Baylor right? Like 20 straight seasons

That should be bar

And honestly she has her own expectations and goals that she will never be reminded of. She's fearless

Disagree. Kalani Brown is probably the only truly elite La. prospect the last decade. Mulkey needs to open the door to Texas that Nikki never did, which shouldn't be a problem, then we'll be elite again.

I don’t believe I said locking up Louisiana would guarantee national championships and there would be nothing else necessary.

But a good first step would be to create a program where a star guard from Destrehan like Ursin would grow up wanting to play for LSU and never consider heading out of state. Hell, Ursin never seriously condidered LSU.

There’s a top recruit out of Parkway for 23 class. Louisiana has had a lot of strong players over the years but to get to the elite level we will have to go out of state to bring in the premier talent. Louisiana unfortunately doesn’t produce top talent every year like Texas and certain areas do. That isn’t to say we shouldn’t lock down the state but we will need more than that to get to the next level

Nikki unfortunately did a poor job locking down the top kids here and never could do much in Texas.

Caldwell Fargas took her pay but I don’t think she really cared to be at LSU and all the evidence points to her shiftlessness and floundering. The separation is welcomed and it should have been a FIRING, 5 years ago!!!

Then take a remedial writing course, “tool.”

This thread and my post are primarily about Ursin.

But it’s a moot point. DD has signed with Southern Miss. Even Domonique wasn’t interested in that sorry-arse ULM program, much less Moon Ursin.

Davis to Southern Miss

Domonique Davis has signed with Southern Miss. Best wishes to her for a great college career.

From what she said about her face-to-face with CKM, it’s obvious Kim told her kindly but firmly that she would not be seeing much playing time and the best she could hope for at LSU going forward was probably the end of the bench.

I was hopeful for her since she was a SWLA recruit, but Domonique was probably another Fargas recruit who had no business at LSU, assuming the program aspired to national prominence.
