There is no controversy. JD is our starting QB. Nuss is our backup, and will be taking the reins next year. We are lucky to have him.

Just because a coach gets paid a lot, doesn’t mean they are always right and use the right scheme and players. If that’s the case they would never get fired. Les Miles would still be here. Fans loved his game plan and ability to play the best players. JD makes the coaches feel safe. Manage the offense, minimize mistakes, and let the defense keep us in the game. Not sure if this team can do that. I would like to see Nuss in spread offense and help open the running game up. He might throw pics, but we may need him if we get in a shoot out.

We're going to be better next year with nuss. Nuss knows the system, and we should have the on-line ready to go by then.

And he's a true pocket passer.

The mental gymnastics that the BR media goes through to try and make it seem like JD is a good passer is ridiculous. The reality is that JD makes everyone around him worse, and even rational guys like Mikie and Jared Mitchell are afraid to call a spade a spade because they don’t want to criticize any current LSU athletes. Ironically, the only person with any following that will speak with any reason on this topic is a drunk T-Bob. LSU deserves a lot better than what we’ve been getting at the QB position
