You’re halfway through the season and your defense is atrocious. You can have the best pitching staff in the country, but if you are this bad at defense, you won’t consistently win. With that said, This team should make a regional strictly because their offense should carry them there. Anything can happen once your in but it will be hard to make a deep run with this defense.

Terrible reasoning. Feeling?
The sample size of the season has enough games to demonstrate the norm. To believe there will be a significant improvement that will get them far in the post season means you also think this team will improve at a higher rate than every other team. That’s dreaming.

For all the angst, we are one game out of a top 4 seed in the SEC tournament. After that, who knows?
Are they where I want them to be? Absolutely not. Can they still get there? Absolutely!

Why are there so many doomsdayers? These kids are trying hard and their talent will come out soon.. If not there is always fishing or golf.
