McMahon is a better basketball coach than Wade and his results at LSU will prove it.

Some quality posts in this thread

Not really sure what to expect from McMahon as a coach. I've only watched 2 of his games while at Murray State...the 2 tourney games last year.

My expectation based on roster talent is NCAA Bubble/NIT for this team. Gonna need for Reed and Ward to both show they can handle the jump to SEC play when that grind starts though.

I believe LSU will be solid as a team. I really like the PG Hill (I believe) and the PF/C Williams who's a beast. Add Miller and about 5 others on this team and it should be a fun season!

I think it’s huge we have several not only talented guys from Murray St, but guys experienced in this system. Learning curve is so much smaller when a core group of players already know it fluently.

I think we’ll surprise folks this year and squeak into the tournament.

Juice, Adam Miller, and KJ are a damn nice trio to build around for sure.

Sick of the hype only to lose every year. I guess I’m in a wait and see pattern. Haven’t really invested much in the new team so know 0 about it. Just fatigued

Found it pretty interesting looking at the roster, that Coleman is the only player listed as a Center at 6’-8”
While all three 6’-10” players and the one 7’-0” are listed as Forwards.

Agree. The way our team was treated last year was a travesty.
