After Wednesday we will be sitting at 9-0 in league play. Our remaining schedule is:

@Aub
Mizzou
@Bama
Kentucky
@USC
@UF
A&M
@Ark
UGA

What do we have to go in order to win the SEC. Auburn and Kentucky already have two losses AND they play each other so one will 100% have three losses. Hopefully Arkansas beats Auburn tonight(they are favored).

Really good chance we win wed, but lets do that first. If we somehow someway win those auburn and UK games it will be all but over in my opinion.

I think the consensus is that LSU probably needs to split Auburn and Kentucky games and win the remaining games against the bottom of the conference to finish in 1st.

15-3 likely wins the conference.

If we beat Vandy Wednesday, then we need to protect home court and win one on the road against Auburn, bama, USCe, Florida, Arkansas. 14-4 should get us at least a share of the title, if not outright winners

7 out of the 9 would be great. At Auburn and at USC will be tough wins.

I don’t want to....

I say 3 losses gets us at least a share, possibly 4

14-4 will share the SEC title. Maybe even win it outright.

Just need to go 5-4 the rest of the way. However, a dominating 15-3 or 16-2 record in conference will help our seed line in the NCAA Tournament a lot.

All 5 of those road games are tough ones. I think 3-2 is a good goal but wouldn’t be surprised at 2-3 or even 1-4. I think if we can win all 4 at home and go 2-3, we will be at least sharing the title at 15-3.

Remember there's no tiebreaker for SEC reg season champs. So if we lose @Auburn, and say we both finish 15-3.. we're still SEC champs even though they have the head to head

Kentucky and Auburn play each other again in Lexington, so that's one of them already at 3 conference losses (likely Auburn).

We get Kentucky at home. If we win that game like you're saying, there's almost no way 14 wins doesn't clinch AT LEAST a share of the SEC title.

I agree they are not very good, but they were hanging with Kentucky in Rupp last week and could have pulled it off. Let's not overlook opponents... one game at a time

Including Vandy, finishing 7-3, while beating Auburn and UK, is a guaranteed regular season crown.

Everything else is based on results of other games and is too early to tell. Just based on the inconsistency of AU and UK, I suspect 14-4 has a good chance of taking the 1 seed, but it could also create a tie that would depend on tie breakers.

All 3 teams have 4 tough games left, and they all play each other.

Assuming they win tonight, I don't think UK finishes any worse than 14-4. The only tough road games remaining for them are at LSU and Florida. They still have to play Auburn again, but that game will be in Rupp.

After tonight's game at Arkansas, Auburn has a really favorable schedule. They get LSU at home and the only game in which they'll be an underdog is the return trip to Rupp. If they win tonight, 15-3 is doable. Of course, LSU will have a chance to change that on Sat.

LSU EASILY has the toughest schedule left of the contenders. IMO, 14-4 shares the conf. title. 16-2 likely wins it outright.

I don’t think Auburn will go 15-3 they simply haven’t looked that good. I think they lose at least 2-3 more games and possibly as many as 4. Kentucky seems like the real challenger for the conference title.

16-2 as of today. 15-3 should be good enough for an outright championship but good luck to anyone pulling for 3 LSU losses out of 9 tries. Theyve won 25 of their last 27 SEC reg season games and no road losses in that span.
