Big Red sat in the the NE corner of Tiger Stadium and we could here him down by the players' chute. Dude had some serious pipes.

Remember everyone chanting "Macy is a fig!" and Daddy Dale got up and took the mike and told us, er I mean all you other people to knock it off? Then Macy sunk one at the buzzer and beat us. I was the one that printed up all the TIGERS ON TOP t shirts. If you had one you would remember it.

I remember it. I also remember 17-1 and being seconds away from 18-0. And, yes, Macy is a fig gawdamn it.

wow..the memories,,I was there too Pat...those were some really good times then in the Pmac..the KY game was always the BEST..I remember Red, I didnt know him back then but I do remember hearing him hollering "TIGERBAIT" at the opposing teams as they came out for warmups like 5 minutes or so..I was in the student section and could hear him from where he sat near the entrance where the other teams locker room was..Was there when Daddy Dale almost got into a fight with Rick the dick Pitino..the UNLV and Loyola-Marymount game with the late Hank Gathers (RIP) and Bo Kimble..man, those were the days..

how about the student section chant for a Sunday KY game when Jim Simpson and Al Mcguire enter the Assembly center..they shouted out to Al Mcguire "Rap,rap,rap, Zap,zap,zap..Al Mcguire's Wife got the CLAP,CLAP,CLAP!..Pissed him off big time..he then went to center court and stomp on the LSU insignia, and knelt down and brush KY's insignia off..PISSED off alot of LSU fans big time!..

PatMac1 - I was there and still remember that shot Macy hit to beat us. Took the air out of the place in one split second. That was a great game, though! PMAC rocked because we had some awesome hoops going on there. What a bunch of great teams!!! I have worked with CookieMan's wife for several years and we still talk about the fun we had back then.
