McMahon is going nowhere with the contract he signed
So if you are unhappy now you are gonna be unhappy for the next 5-7 years
Now if the ncaa or iarp could wrap this deal up than McMahon and lsu can finally move on

Obviously he can coach but I think his history is too hard of a sale here considering our recent history. Would be great if we could get past all that.
This is an honest question, so please take it as that.

Who are we appeasing? Is it LSU basketball or is it media/NCAA/etc.

Not you per se, but as I read TD, seems LSU basketball needs to bow the knee. Help me out here.

Thanks.

I'm so lucky to be a 52yo LSU Basketball fan.

The whole contention is deal with it.

Move on from what? He’s so in over his head in the SEC. Can’t recruit and can’t get elite transfers. How do you think this is going to play out?

6 schools in the SEC hired new coaches for this season. 5 came from the mid-major ranks. 1 was a conference re-tread. McMahon arguably had the best resume of the mid major group. To suggest LSU could have made a bigger and better hire at the time is probably unrealistic.

However, we have now seen McMahon perform at LSU and the results have been bad. More worrisome is there doesn’t appear to be anything to suggest things may improve in the near future.

Given that and the fact you have PROVEN major conference HC available for hire, it would not be unreasonable at all to explore that option. What would be more unreasonable is to totally foreclose that option base on nothing more than blind hope the current situation gets better.

Making a mistake is not the worst thing. Not rectifying it when the opportunity to do so it there is.

He is a raging alcoholic and likes to attack people. He attacked a couple of people in Lubbock but TT was able to get in front of it. Apparently knocked his wife/girlfriend around.

What planet do you people live on?

So maybe you should take the place of the victim and let him you as a punching bag. Hey he is a winner. Beat up on people and not worry about consequences. He is a winner you are a Bozo.

And the mens coach less than that lol.

That’s kind of how it works between a HOF coach and an unproven coach

Fat Scott is scared of media backlash. Dude lets dickie v and Forde run our program. No way we hire Beard, which is unfortunate

Oh,my goodness, the irony! You keep Wade's in your mouth 24 hours a day! The way you fantasize about him is disturbing.
