I mean, they look like two bottom tier teams from P4 leagues as expected.
The Tigers are more talented. UCF is in for a rough season.

Offense looks solid so far

quote:Yeah, I doubt the SEC gets 14 of 16 in again this season. That was pretty unprecedented.
But I expect the mid-level teams to get bids this season, as well. If LSU wins 8 SEC games, they will likely be in. Last season, all the teams that had 6 or more SEC wins made the NCAAT, 14 of 16. I do not expect that to be the case this season.
8-10 in the SEC will depend on who we beat. OOC schedule isn’t going to help with NET.

I think from a NET standpoint they will probably be mid to low 70's at the end of the year. Just enough for a 1-2 seed in the NIT
By bubble team, I meant in consideration for the tournament, not necessarily in so that would mean a high NIT seed. And I go there because I do not expect another 14 SEC team tournament invitations.

LSU does look more physical than any point last season and have multiple guys that can hit from deep. Thomas also looks like he may have the chops to be a good PG for us.

68-62 good guys, under 4 TO.

Cool. UCF is bad so it would be very good for the Tigers to build confidence by finishing this off.

Better than good, potentially.

I like Thomas
Picking him up was crucial to any chance of being good.

Agreed. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t have high hopes due to what we’ve seen the last 3 seasons, but I don’t give up hope in October.
But both teams are predicted to finish bottom dwellers in their conferences.

That's all I'm saying as well. It's clear Thomas is the key to any hopes of real improvement.

Didn’t LSU play a closed exhibition last year?

I like Tamba's energy on the floor as well. I wonder if we will see Gilhool, if he has been in. I missed it. That is one tall kid.

They're just trying to win one for the Zipper.

Also where is Rob Miller?
