They didn't, the guy was going to double 24 and 3 popped open.

Give them a couple of more games to mature. Cut down on the stupid passes and bad decision making and we should see a pretty decent team.

This will be a L on the record. But, this game will make LSU a better team. Mark it down. This team has a chance to be decent if they keep improving.

You sure you didn't copy this from a thread from the beginning of last year?

I don't know how much longer he has. But this wasn't a terrible loss. 14 points isn't much to come back from. It sucks....but we did see some positives. Try to win next 2

To be honest if he doesn't show improvement real quick I want him gone soon. Like the next ten games soon. This is getting sad. We didn't adjust to the zone until the end of the game. Just sad.

no way this damn team is 8-8 in the SEC....no damn way

Are you kididng me? With this coach we are at best 5-11 in the SEC this year. We EASILY have the talent to go 8-8 (or better). But god forbid that...

Why cant we just go ahead and fire him, i dont get it, this program is headed NOWHERE. We can do so much better.

Last game of the sec schedule will be Trent's last game as the LSU hc

why would they fire him before the sec tourney?

NW is an NCAA Tournament team. They seem like a 5-7 seed type team.

Would have been a really nice win. This is easier to take than CoC.

even worse is we were down 1. trent should have been telling them to protect against the 3. a lay up doesn't really hurt us as its still a one possession game but no we have players protecting against the drive instead of the 3. shite coaching

+1. Very similar to the Houston game or Northern Iowa game in 2005-06. Not saying this team has any chance of going to the Final Four BUT this young team needs games like this to learn from.

Good try. This team has potential. We needed just a little bit more. Overall good game.

I don't know much about LSU basketball, but I have noticed that LSU is young and has talent. I can't believe I am saying this, but with proper coaching, LSU could possibly be a tournament team. The talent is there. However, they coaching is not...I thought very highly of Trent Johnson at Stanford (Lopez twins or not) and Nevada. I thought he was a great coach. Very fiery and passionate. It looks like he's just going through the motions out there now. That's odd...these games matter when your team in on the bubble. The team had the passion, the coaching on the other hand...
