I watched Nebraska lose to UMASS yesterday and UMASS is solid. They got Nebraska into more foul trouble then us. Pretty crazy.

UMASS is on a 14-0 run to really put this one out of hand. Impressive win for the Minutemen.

Good win for UMASS, but NM was drained after a 2 OT game yesterday where they made a last second three to tie in regulation, a last second three to tie in OT1 and a last second three to win it in OT2. People put too much stock into single performances in early season CBB games, anyway.

I worked with Derrick Kellogg (UMass head coach) a lot when I played basketball and went to camps out when he was at Memphis with Calipari.

I preferred his coaching to Calipari's and thought he would eventually get his opportunity.

Seems like he's turned into a great HC. Also looks like LSU basketball is raising the bar. You guys were young last year but had all the pieces. Should be a good year for you guys.

I saw that they beat Boston College as well, who is expected to finish in the top half of the ACC. Pretty good team up at UMass.

Man that is great for us! If Martin doesn't get hurt or a few other plays go our way we def would have won that one! Makes me feel even better!

Umass beating a ranked team handidly makes me feel much better about only losing to them by two after everything that went on in that game

Yeah. They're putting together a pretty solid tournament resume already. And they play in a pretty decent league. Probably 3 bids, maybe 4 coming out of the A10 this year.
