I thought the crowd was great when LSU did great things, but 12 strikeouts through 7 innings is pretty deflating. I know quite a few people that went that make plenty of noise, so I would imagine the problem was Singer just pitching a gem.

Twelve strikeouts by the starter usually quiets a crowd. Tiger Stadium gets quiet against Alabama when the offense goes three-and-out routinely.
