You O supporters/Miles detractors bang your chest about what Ensminger did with Miles' players in one breath, then in the next say this.

Are both not true? You could actually blame both losses on Aranda and his defense also. But the Rant doesn't want to hear that.

And then he'll say that Miles only won with Saban's players yet ignore that O "won" with 100% of Miles' players and 99% of Miles' staff (same goes for his interim stint at USC)

While the USC part is true and shows how good a coach CEO actually is the LSU part is incorrect.

A college team has 9 coaches. For Miles, Cameron and Bradley Dale to be gone is definitely not 99% of the staff. He fired Cameron and Peveto and hired Pete Jenkins and promoted Dennis Johnson at the time of his hire.

Since the season he fired the WR/Recruiting Coordinator and RB's coaches. The only holdovers are himself, Aranda, Grimes (OL) and the TE's coach - SE.

Nah bruh, O fired Cameron and picked Ensminger to be OC. But you can't hold Florida and Bama against them. It wasn't their fault

If you are trying to hold losing Bama to a HC who had been on the job for 4 games you are just looking for reasons to cry. LSU, believe it or not, wasn't the only team to lose to Alabama last season.

Yes he mostly had Miles staff intact at that time. He has made the corrections since.

I guaran-damn-tee you miles wouldve won 10 games this coming season. Anything less than that is an utter failure.

Les Miles won 8 and 9 games in his last 2 full seasons as HC. And you somehow think the he could have miraculously could have won 10 this season with the losses to the draft and extra road game at Florida?

Your revisionary memory is what is miraculous.

That's it ??? You think Les Miles hired Austin Thomas for some reason in 2013? How would Les have known Austin even existed, again he was not a coach. His whole career besides 2 years at LSU, while CEO was at interim head coach USC and off the next year before Les could reassign Brick Haley to hire him at LSU, he worked for Coach O.

You use the most ignorant arguments of all time.
quote:

I'm sure CEO called Les and told him Kiffin had started the season as the #1 program in the country and had gone 2-5 to finish the season and finish unranked. CEO had a good idea Kiffin was out and put in a good word for AT with Les. No other way ever, Les would have hired an administrative person he had never heard of.

You have fricking clue who Miles knew or didnt know. Good god.

What kind of weight did ed orgeron carry at that time? He was named interim coach at usc because both coordinators were 4 games into their usc career

Why would one of the most successful coaches in cfb at the time (miles) listen to a career position coach on who he should hire? A position coach that had taken shots at lsu every chance he got?

I can't wait to hear their excuses when we lose 4 games.

I'm sure you can't. Who is your team again? I forget and you don't have it on your profile.

I'm sure it will somehow be Les Miles' fault

Wow !!! So you wish Miles was still the head coach at LSU? Bama or Auburn fan?

We won 10 games 8 of 11 years under Miles.

Are you seriously sitting here saying we wouldn't have beaten mcneese in 2015?

Then why are you touting his lsu interim tenure as proof O has gotten better? Youre stupid.

"Look how well we did under O"

"Yoh can't blame him for losses but let's credit him with the wins".

Good god that's retarded.

You already said you would blame 4-5+ losses on something other than Orgeron.

That's enough to tell me not to listen to anything else you have to say.

Well, I don't care if you listen to anything I say or not. I don't remember saying "would blame 4-5+ losses on something other than Orgeron". Can you post a link? I somehow totally missed it.

Well if this is true, what this sounds like is O having no idea what kind of football game plan he wants to put together. No overall strategy, nothing to drive his decision making, nothing to say "I want *this* kind of offense to facilitate my game plan."

Really? Seriously?

The head coach asking his assistant head coach (who many on this board think is the best defensive mind ever) who he wouldn't want to face because of the difficulty it presented. Then going out and hiring the guy somehow triggers you to hate and doubt the HC more than you already did.

Jesus, some message board fans are just never happy with anything. This is down right funny at this point. ha ha ha, good stuff !!!

Oh, not to mention that not only was he recommended by Aranda, he was the only offensive Broyles Award candidate on the offensive side of the ball and the only offensive coordinator to beat national champion Clemson - who beat Alabama.

And you think "nothing to drive his decision making"? Are you kidding or really being serious? It's really hard to tell.

Funny stuff is thinking Miles hired someone he didnt know(your words) because a career dline coach that Miles has never worked with told him too.

Funny stuff is not giving credit to other coaches in their 1st year because it wasnt their program(your words) and then in the same post touting an interim tenure as proof of running a successful program.

Funny is touting the offensive performances against shite defenses and then removing blame from the shite show offensive performances.

Funny is shitting on Herman's last year in Houston while not recognizing that his last year in Houston is far better than any season where Ed Orgeron was allowed to actually hire anyone.

These are the half wit arguments you roll out here.
