Well, tonight was a good test and we're basically UL's bitch. We won't know what we have until SEC play. I'm probably more concerned about pitching than hitting right now. I don't think we know who we have behind Nola, Glenn has been shaky and who's going to be our closer and middle relief?

How the frick does lsu not have 3-4 guys in the lineup that can legitimately hit. We got Breg and that's about it

Actually we really don't have Breg. Reputation don't get runners in from second, obviously, and many times that has happened so far.

Lafayette must be an embarrasing city. USL used to have Lafayette in tiny, tiny letters. Now you can't see Lafayette anywhere. Is the city too embarrassed to let them put the name on the uniform?

Think about this, there is only one player on the red team tonight that would choose the red team if offered by LSU, and that's because he's the coach's son.

I'll forward it to you. The seriousness of it is a little humorous.

Hitting is a BIG problem to. USL's starter probably couldn't make any SEC rotation.

In Bregs defense he'll see garbage until the others show they can hit consistently. Breg is the best hitter in the sec.

TD.com on melt down

Its baseball and it isn't even a complete game.

It's like being down in the 2nd qrt to some oc team and saying LSU is worse than that team.

One 5 inning loss to a top 20 team doesn't kill your season.

I would say LSU would win 6 or 7 against UL over 10 games.

Denying Nola a no-hitter last Friday killed the morale of this team, causing them to underform tonight.
