Really hope this is just a one game punishment for Jones. A permanent shift to Katz at 2B and Moore at 1B makes no sense. It's far more logical to just put Moore permanently in the DH spot, keep Jones at 2B where he is strong defensively and improving at the plate, and keep Katz at first. This seemingly would be the best offensive and infield lineup. After we build a lead, in the later innings PM can insert Stevenson into the outfield for defensive purposes and either move McMullen to Moore's DH spot or remove McMullen entirely.
Seems like the above would be PM's more likely plan going forward.
