First timer on LSU baseball tickets. I’m confused by the standing room only tickets and what that means exactly. Games within the subject date range (we will choose one game, most likely on a Sat) are all SEC games, I am sure there will be large crowds.

Concerning the SRO tickets, is there a chance my family and I will have no seats and have to loiter around the stadium to watch the game?

Thanks for any help.

You have the right to enter the stadium but you will stand the entire time. No seats. There’s an entire concourse where you stand and can see the game with fairly decent views. The one time I did standing room only was games 2 and 3 for the super regional about ten years ago or so. My wife and I got there early and got our spot directly behind home plate. Bathroom visits were one at a time to save our spot but it was the best time I’ve had in the current stadium.

SEC series Friday and Saturday games might be tough. But you should be able to find seats most games. After a certain point (3rd or 5th inning? Not sure?) You may be able to move into seats that are unoccupied.

Sometimes ushers can assist the process if they know certain seats are open for that particular game.

Yet you have a chance for a seat, but thanks for clarifying.

from the ticket website ----Standing Room Only (SRO) ticket allows a fan entry into Alex Box Stadium but does not guarantee a seat in any section of the stadium. Fans are allowed to stand in designated SRO areas located on the concourse level of the grandstand or in the bleacher section walkways down the left and right field lines.

A SRO ticket is standing only. But some people will try to sit in a seat "knowing they do not have a seat". And if someone shows up and says you are in their seat you will have to move. This isn't usually a big issue for lesser attended games, but once SEC play starts it changes. And if someone shows up and says you are in their seat you will have to move. You stated that it is you and the family, so I am guessing that means at least 3 of you. I do not think you will be able to find 3 or more open seats together during SEC play.

4 total. I figured it would be tough to find a seat, but having never been I wanted to ask. We aren’t interested occupying seats that we didn’t pay for. I appreciate the info from all.

Left field bleachers will surely have some seats you can sit even in SEC play as long as you are willing to wait a couple innings before moving out there. Sections 128-130 are not normally shoulder to shoulder unless it's a major team like Vandy or Florida, and the weather is absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you. We are locked into a softball game now, might try baseball since there’s a baseball game the same day. Thx

You shouldn't have trouble finding seats down the lines either most games. Just look for openings towards the middle of rows between two aisles.

May also be easier finding 4 seats with two sitting on the middle of one row and the other 2 sitting the row above or below that row. You're basically sitting together that way also.

Check the secondary market for 4 tickets together. If they go unsold, go sit there Or just buy them yourself

Just wait til a day or two before the game and find some on the ticket exchange, or walkup and buy some from one of the older guys selling, youll find four
Bring $20 for each seat you need, show up a bit early and youll find them if it isnt opening day or postseason games
