My son and I have General Admission tickets to the LSU/Western Michigan baseball game on Saturday and then General Admission tickets to the LSU softball game on Saturday. What is the seating like for those 2 games with GA? Should we bring chairs/blanket? Do they allow chairs? I am trying to get a feel of what we should expect. Being that the Baseball game is first and the Softball game is last where should we park...should we park in lot 406 near Tiger Park? I just want this to be special to my 10 year old so I want to be as prepared as possible. Thanks.

I’m guessing you mean standing room only. Bring a blanket. Stand for a couple innings then go find anplace to sit.

This. If you really want this to be a special experience for your 10 YO, don't be afraid to shell out a couple extra bucks for reserved seats. Free parking is available in the Hayfield Lot on the corner of Gourrier & River Road.

I would have done that but the only tickets available were the ones I bought.

Your standing room only tickets are fine. There will be tons of open seats. It may be cold on Saturday though. But it’ll still be a lot of fun!

I have never had a problem getting two to four tickets outside the stadium before games at either face or near face value. Good seats in the concourse area.

You can’t bring chairs in to the baseball stadium. Just find a spot at the top of the grandstand or against the wall along the baselines. After 2 or 3 innings any open spots are fair game. There will be plenty open with the cold and Mardi Gras.

The Softball stadium you can bring chairs to the outfield berm but they also have two brick walls built into the berm that are great to sit on if you don’t want to bring a folding chair in. I would park in the Tiger Park parking lot cause you may not want to walk too far in the cold after the game,

Hope you and your boy have a great time! Geaux Tigers!
