Fricking weird as hell, but I believe our pitchers are average to good. If they can limit the walks, wild pitches, free passes, they would get exponentially better. Moore, Evans, Schmidt are good starters. They really need to get a few steps better in order to make it happen next year. Also need to bring in some competition to challenge them.
The fielding percentage must improve as well.

The best players are leaving for the draft and the pitching is awful.
This is rock bottom. Nothing short of about 15 new studs coming in will change this ship wreck. Do you think this team is going to add 15 quality players? In one off season?

Can some of the fielding issues connect with the bad pitching? Errors due to so many on bases due to walks. Errors due to hard hit balls to fielders. I know, there shouldn't be that many errors regardless of the pitching. But I have a feeling there wouldn't have been as many errors without all the bad pitching.
On the flip side, turning those errors into outs would get out of more innings and throwing less pitches.

Faith, Hope and $$$$ (3 Million +) Jay correcting all the mistakes he made that led to this historically dysfunctional and embarrassingly inept 2026 LSU Baseball team.
3 Million. Nice work if you can get it!
LSU aint payin him 3M for this kind of legendarily bad baseball; maybe donate some of that back to the program to initiate the Fix!

It really is an odd thing honestly. Scoring 8 runs or more in the sec usually means you’re winning quite often. Mainly because people expect the pitching to be that good. Not the case this year.
