Seriously, is it time for PM to look at replacing the strength and conditioning coordinator? Are these just freak injuries or maybe it's due to a poor strength and conditioning program? I don't know, but it seems less injuries occur with football with Tommy Moffitt and his program.

the groupthink echo chamber will tell you that it is not a red flag, only bad luck.

and shame on you for caring about the players.

Point out the groupthink in this thread. I’m trying to get a bead on the issue here so we can solve the problem. Since you are so knowledgeable on the subject, I’m asking you which coach (CPM, Dunn, or Moffitt) is responsible for abusing these player’s arms and in what other season’s this issue has occurred.

Baseball is not football

Please list players that are injured where a different S & C could have made a difference

I have some insight into this.

By all means, I’d love to hear your insight. So far we’ve only had Ed tell us that they are abusing players in practice but he doesn’t know how because he thought practices were closed and even if they aren’t closed, why would he go?

And can you compare this to what other programs are doing? Also, why hasn’t this been an issue in the past?

To somewhat hijack the thread

quote:

Auburn skipper Butch Thompson just got ejected as he and Tim Corbin met with umpires out of the rain delay. He’s presumably unhappy they didn’t stop the game earlier with his ace on the mound, who just left with an injury right before the rain delay

Tanner Burns hurt himself on a shitty turf mound

That fricking sucks. There is no reason for a turf mound.

And this is shortly after they just lost Davis Daniel for the season.

ETA: I'm on Butch's side on this one.

I think a lot of it is injuries and strains that happened in high school that weren’t properly treated. Then they finally get around coaches that give a shite about their future and the issues are dealt with instead of riding them into the ground.

groupthink shilling 101: create a false argument and repeat it over and over.

My premise is simple. I do not believe this rash of injuries is bad luck. I believe it is a red flag pointing to a problem with the LSU program.

You believe in luck. cool.

I believe it is related to something specific to LSU.

both are opinions. I'm not going on for 35 pages repeating this today.

That's horrible. Not because LSU plays them later but because that stuff becomes a slipping slide with any kind of moisture.

Okay, now back up your argument with facts.

What is LSU doing differently from other schools? Why hasn’t this been an issue in the past? Why is one pitcher effected and not others?

I dont have to back up anything. why dont you back up your opinion of luck with stats from the last 18 seasons.

you alwas try to muddy the water because I do't buy into the groupthink.

I don't think like you superfans. deal with it.
