Probably already talked about...but some better experts, what are we looking like? I know a good but, but do ya'll think Dean is coming back? Is Schimpf definitely gone? If someone wants to post their predicted lineup that would be great.

This is a practice video before the second Ark game in Omaha. At the 3:50 mark Paul starts talking to Dean about coming back next year to work on his speed and arm. Ochinko asks him "No summer ball?" Dean says "No, I don't think I'm gonna play summer ball". Paul then says he wants Dean to get his arm fixed and Dean agrees. Seems like a good sign to me.

I think Ott should stay closer...he's fricken money.

What kind of freshmen we got coming in? I know about the pitchers, but any position players that are unreal?

it would be huge if Dean came back. We need a leader like that

talked with a family member of schimpf in omaha and he is likely gone

LeMahieu, Schimpf, Ochinko, and Mitchell are gone.

Dean is gonna be iffy, he's an All-American and will be the spotlight of college baseball if he comes back.

VonRosenberg will be at LSU next year along with Mormann and Bruening two 6'6 RHP.

Stang and Colvin are a coin flip along with Dean as players we will have to watch.

I like the optimism with Matulis, Adam. And will that Kenoeman make it to campus?

If by his words then yes he will be. He was draft eligible and was not selected by a team, but he brings instant power that we will need.

Matulis is a star in the making, he will get more reps like Ranaudo did in his second year and will shine.

On the 2010 staff we will have 6 pitchers 6'5 or taller and in pitching that is a big deal because of the downward motion and distance to the plate.

Matulis 6'6
Ranaudo 6'7
Mormann 6'6
Bruening 6'6
VonRosenberg 6'5
Reidie 6'5

We'll know a lot more about next year's prospects in August.

Deadline to sign with MLB is August 15th.

ross always pitches against the opponents' best arms, so he never gets good run support

No, that would be ranuado that got no run support and still finsihed with 12 wins. Ross faces the worst weekend starter and thank goodness they still score alot for him cause he might have 2 or 3 wins

Plus, their intramural basketball team should be very good.

Yea, hes ok as a Day 3 starter but I'm not sure I'm comfortable seeing him as a Day 2 starter right now. He could develop a lot from here to next season but we really need other guys to step up. I think Bradshaw deserves his shot.
