Jacoby was taken out. He cannot come back in. Slaid was pretty much the only pinch hitter left.

frick. I'm upset for the loss but we all knew we were going in to a tough series this week. It was a chess match the entire game and we obviously didn't have the right pieces left at the end to win it.

Good luck next week.

See...that was almost a classy statement...almost...UK has a good team this year but has not accomplished anything...we will see later this year how they play in uncharted waters...

Yeah, but too bad he doesn't show the same class on the SEC Rant

Did not realize that. That's what I get for missing the beginning of the game I guess.

ETA: why was he taken out?

Should have been the move. Diddier could have went to 2B if we scored.

why not tyler moore?

Moore should have the starting 1B job every freaking game IMO. Coach pushed some buttons today that did not work out.

plan and simple, ky cant hit in all situations, we can't and if we don't pound out 15 hits, we're in trouble against good teams

They're on a roll, let them be.

Obviously Jones would have been better in that situation, but maybe he'll get the message after being yanked.

He took some chances in a very important game that didn't quite work out. I would've liked to win the game, but I can't hate on the youngsters getting some crunch time AB's. We fought pretty damn hard after getting skulled yesterday. The sun will come up tomorrow.

Hope so. I don't necessarily disagree with the yank. He has been moping around for a couple weeks
