Yea the pitcher not throwing strikes is on Mainieri. Come on guys sometimes you have to put some blame on the players. With that said he should pull Peterson.

And he let Peterson struggle into trouble.Game is tied with nobody out and Peterson is still pitching and till struggling. That's what CPM does best with his pitchers.

this is typical paul maineri, everyone can see that peterson doesn't have it and he keeps him in there until they tie the game and probably go ahead.

Everyone could see that Peterson didn't have any command. The guy should have faced no more than two hitters.

Peterson faces 4, gives up the lead, and puts the go ahead run on 3rd with one out. fricking terrible

Hopefully the guy has a stronger will than people on this board. If a pitcher loses confidence because of one bad outing then he shouldn't be playing at LSU sorry.

CPM and his decisions to pull pitchers too late is equivalent to Les Miles's clock management.

Pawl just read the rant and is now finally making the move.

a catchers job is to be able to block and keep in front the strike out curveballs in the dirt. He has not been able to do that this weekend.

Pulled Peterson 2-3 batters too late. This is why we lose games to less talented teams in Supers or Omaha

Pawl strikes again. Can't believe how many times we have seen him do this petersons confidence will be shot now. Paul just left him to drown out there

Why are we surprised though? This is CPM benchmark to leave pitchers in way too long giving up leads that cost LSU wins.

Had him dead to right at 3rd and didn't even look at the runner. Should be one out and a runner on 1st.

The ball hit fricking home plate. No matter how good of a catcher you are, that ones extremely difficult to handle.
