He should have froze when he saw it was low enough to be cut, but let's not pretend that he shouldn't and wouldn't have moved up if there was a play at the plate.

Mainieri teaches to throw to 1st every time no matter what. Maybe the 1st time in his 9 years we've thrown to 2nd.
