Even if high school ball, you could tell the LHSAA (or used to be able to anyway) that you don't want person X calling your games and they would honor it.

Coaches can block umpires in the scheduling app.

Balls and Strikes vary from batter to batter. Keeps ‘em guessing.

It's difficult to call pitches. Do it for any level and see!

agreed. Complaining about refs is childish.

Do they makes mistakes? Of course, they're human. But it usually evens out for both teams, so just live with it and leave the bitching to the immature teenagers.

Hundreds (or Thousands) of people do it adequately every day across all levels of baseball. If you can’t maintain a consistent strike zone as the home plate umpire you shouldn’t be one of those people (especially at a D1 level or higher).

He was very inconsistent. Very frustrating for a pitcher

I have, bruh.

But, I can take criticism.

Also, here to eat a little crow because Coach Johnson called Jeff Head “one of the best” in his post game press conference. So there is that.

Like I said he has to. Jeff head sucks balls and everyone knows it. But as long as the ncaa keeps putting him in Omaha, Jay can’t say shite.

Because Jeff head is also petty.

All I know is after he walked out to the mound and talked to and handed Little a new ball, Christian seemed to lose focus a little bit. I'd love to know what all that horseshite was about.

Jay has to be cordial about it considering that JH will likely umpire some big games for us moving forward in the season unfortunately.

Jeff Head is a known LSU hater, he will never call a fair game. Scotty and Jay needs to make a call and forbid him to be an umpire for our games

Ask the Xavier batter who ran 2/3s of the way to 1st base on strike 3 if he thinks Jeff hates LSU. Lol.
