If you spend any time at all in baseball world nowadays you see exit velocity giving immediate feedback to the good and bad.
And considering there are a thousand little inputs that go into achieving that one output (exit velo), plenty of things can be adjusted/improved before "swing harder" is even a consideration.

Project, Russian, Scuba or Adam, any idea what's the best site out there for getting accurate rosters for every college team? And also for finding stats for players from previous seasons?

Here is a link to every teams site. I use this every day pretty much: LINK
Some schools are better about updating their rosters than others. But you won't get anything more accurate than what is on their own site.
Baseball Reference has started including NCAA stats going back to like 2011 (they may be continually adding back farther, not sure). Here is a link to their SEC page, but they have every D1 conference, a lot of D2 conferences and maybe some JUCO as well. They also have some summer league stuff as well. LINK
ETA: I have other links for JUCOs, summer teams, and divisions other than D1 as well if you were looking for any of that.
ETA: Looks like another person has dropped off the roster. Augustus Milligan dropped off the other day. It looks like Nick Storz is no longer listed today.

cool stuff. showed a bunch of terrible swings through the video. My real worry is that they’re swinging away with all this elaborate equipment but missing the point and doing it wrong all the time.

Thanks. That will work with what I was looking for.

Why would you put trophies in a training facility? They would get broken.

Arkansas is the best baseball complex by far. New addition going up as I type. Check it out. It’s Fantastic.

I guess you were watching on tv with the LSU team.

You'd guess wrong.
I don't watch Arkansas playing Oregon State in baseball.
ETA: This is how LSU baseball players use teamwork to catch foul pop-ups when we play Arkansas in Hoover.

Not a baseball fan I see. But you did respond so there is that.

The analytics of baseball say more hard hit balls = more runs scored. Who cares if a player goes an entire season without a K but his highest exit velocity is a Hal Hughes like 72mph. All of those balls in play will equal zeros on the score board.

You imagine how we’d be if we let students get in and drink?
That would be an awesome atmosphere
