Even if I give them credit for taking 10 innings to score their 2nd run on Friday, then it is still half of their games against legitimate competition (Appy St. and MSU) that they have done that. Is it exceptable to suck it up on occasion in baseball? Hell yes! But, you have to improve drastically from where we are now. We don't have tons of speed to play the west coast style small ball to compliment our pitching and defense like a lot of teams, so bats are going to have to pick it up.
