3 games stick out to me:

Game 2 at Arky - 3 run top of 9th, grand slam to lose in the bottom

Game 2 vs Auburn - tie game bottom of 8, hit and run with 1st and 2nd and no out turned into a disaster

Game 2 vs State - killed ourselves on the bases early in the game, let State hang around, blew the game in the bottom of the 9th

LSUtoOmaha and hcb have really helped me out a lot.

I am guessing hcb is right.

The way I understand it...they can be .500...just not sub .500.

So they have to win 2 games at Hoover to be eligible.

I could be wrong though.

.49999999999999999999999999999 = you don't get in according to NCAA rule. Hawthorne explained that today right about the time his was waxing on about enunciating the name "Alex."

Hoover makes no difference tothis season. Rest up and try to make some noise in a regional. Gain some experience for our young staff.

im not 100% certain but i think as long as you don't have a losing record you are eligible

So, should we be hoping for Arkansas to come back or Ole Miss to hold on?

You have to be 1 game over .500 to qualify for regional play....thus UGA has a lot of work to do, and Auburn better not got 0-2 or they are out..even though I don't thinkmthey take Auburn over LSU at this point. It's not like we tanked all year long, losing so many 1 run games may actually help us with the committee.

All I know, I think is that whoever loses that game, does not go to Hoover. However, I don't know anything after that.

Don't forget that disastrous 9th inning in Game 1 of the Florida series.
