If I had to pick one area where I disagree with Mainieri, it would be the way he handles pitchers during a game. He leaves guys in too long when it is apparent to many that they are toast. He doesn't get guys warming in the pen until it is too late. Why not at least have a couple of guys soft tossing in the pen deep into games?
