What sucks is that we have a ton of hard hit balls tonight that have just gone straight to fielders. Sometimes baseball is a bitch. I will agree someone needed to pinch run for Beau in that situation. Still don't disagree with the decision to go home. It took a good throw and play on a slow runner to get him. A speedy guy would have probably scored easily.

Explain this - you sac bunt, but don't pinch run for the ice wagon Jordan? Especially after the face plant at 3rd.

CPM will always send them on contact in that situation. He's been doing it for years. Most of the time they are called out. I don't like the call but that is the way he wants it.

Agree with this. Wish Breaux was running, especially in the event there was a sac fly situation, but we've had several hard hit balls right at people.
