This team will look completely different in May than they look now. Smith and Slaughter will be more seasoned. The two pitchers they've faced tonight are the best they have ever seen in their lives. Lange won't always pitch like he did tonight. Plate discipline will get better and Lsu's team always seem to peak by May.

How about all those runs they've made to be national seeds and win the sec tourney. Notice I said May. Never said anything about June.

I guess what it comes down to is, do you think that they have better players than us or better coaches?
Posted on 3/3/17 at 10:45 pm to DustyDinkleman
Sure doesn't seem like we have 8 hits
Posted on 3/3/17 at 10:46 pm to DustyDinkleman
Slaughter, Romero, Papierski due up in the bottom of the 8th

110% correct.

Lange has obviously digressed since freshman year. Who's to blame

Some perspective finally.
W-L here won't break our season.
Hell I doubt Reynolds will be filling innings post season.

Stop watching? I'm not the one giving up on this team. I know the game baseball and I'm not about to judge a team based off one game. I know that a team in March is not the same team they will be in May/June. LSU doesn't even know if this will be their true lineup come sec play. Romero might not be DH. Duplantis doesn't get better Breaux or Watson could be in center. Wiley could play somewhere and shoot coomes could take over for Pap. This team still has a lot of questions to answer.
