bottom of the order and a freshman...not that bad of a move...come on.
So you trust the freshman to get down a bunt in a crucial situation but not get a hit?? The odds would have been better just to let JM try to steal #rd.

I'm not giving up on this game. I refuse to lose.

Bunting your 9 hole hitter to put 2 guys in scoring position for the top of the order makes a lot of sense.

Wrong. This wasn't the 9th. Nola can hit and isn't a DP threat. Poor move.

Overly aggressive move that cost us a scoring opportunity.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wrong. That is a good play to try to get a man in position to score on a sac fly. Mitchell has ++ speed and MM is a RH hitter. That was a good move but looked bad b/c of what happened right before.
plus with mitchell on 2nd, you have the steal threat still there. no reason to bunt IMO

Mainieri's playing for two out of three now.

Yes.

Wow...i cant believe we didnt try this earlier..taking AR out of the game...this is much more exciting...
oh I don't know...AR loaded the bases twice in one inning so Alsup still has some work to do...

It ain't over...but it is looking close.

Byrd heading to the pen..
1st and 2nd, no outs...
Bunt to Hanover, he throws it away, run scores, 8-3 UA...

Batter collided with LeMahieu and he is injured.

I disagree. Putting 2 men in scoring position for the top of the order is a very standard move. To call it "wrong" is just idiotic.

I disagree. We are down 2. Gibbs was on 1st. Arkansas could have easily thrown to 2nd to get Gibbs. Low percentage play IMO and it cost us an extra opportunity to drive in a runner.

i don't agree with throwing alsup here, but whatever. I guess we're going to save our pitching for the next 2

i just dont understand when the game is 5-3 why you dont bring in Bert or Cain, we are still in the game at that point...and we had a 10 run inning just Wed its not like we cant hit the ball at times
