what is hard to understand that coleman pitches 2 innings of relief on friday, then throws 8 innings and 120+ pitches on sunday, and somehow you don't think he is the ace of our staff when he's 8-1 and in the top 3-5 in about every major pitching category in the league. if PM was given the choice of pitching ranaudo or coleman in a must-win game, and both players had equal rest, coleman would get the call every single time. FACT
its not a fact. not to mention PM came out after that weekend and said he should not have done that and wont do it again.

Another game thread/battle royale here on the Rant.
Mitchell up...
Inside, 1-0...
Grounder to 2B, error allows Mitchell to reach, runner on 1st, no outs...

Is it like arguing with your spouse?
Half the fun of arguing is making up?

I would say that if asked the question Who do you want to have the ball in any given scenerio with the season on the line I would go with Coleman. He is the best all around pitcher we have. AR is the best starter. The ace doesn't always have to be the best starter.
Not a bad answer...and i wasnt necessarily disagreeing with you...but someone listed stats that favored AR and i was just curious if anyone thought that there might be some other factors involved..

i guarantee you coleman would get the start over ranaudo. i really don't think it's even worth your time to try to argue that

Low, 2-0...
Low, 3-0...
Strike, 3-1...
In the dirt, walk, 1st and 2nd, no outs...
