This is just great. Now I can sit up and see the lady Tigers and hope they can somehow handle a Miss St team that will have to beat them 3 stright times. So far State is doing quite well.

It's really not that bad. they are 6-1 and as we saw tonight their starting pitching is pretty good.
Might I remind you we lost 1/3 to a worse Indiana team last year at home and still went o nthe CWS.

This is the game of baseball. Baseball teams, regardless of their rank, will lose games. It's not like football, which is why baseball is such a great game.

Poor base running and the dropped ball by Ochinko in the T9th is what lost us the game but that ump and his strike zone. I was watching on GZ and some of those pitches were in another zip code.

I was partially kidding. But it was so cold that I doubt they practiced outdoors until about 2-3 weeks ago. We had a period of about a month where I bet the average temperature was under 10 degrees. It got down to -17, -38 wind chill one night.

Baserunning did really cost us this game. But also the funny thing is we scored the only earned run of the game. All 3 of Illinois' was off of the 2 errors unfortunately.
We were hitting the ball just fine and getting on base just fine. We left 12 stranded.

Betcha Illinois is stoked tonight. Considering they probably draw about 100 a game, probably felt like Yankee stadium
