Good job scuba, the first 5 guys should all have a spot in the lineup. Always hear really good things about Reid and the 2 freshman out fielders. Deichmann seems to be coming along a lot better. Good to see only 10k's and 8 walks.

Is Latz officially done with the stress fractures in his shoulder?
Posted on 11/10/15 at 7:05 am to docTQ4
He is done for now, 4-6 months, at least. I don't know if he has had surgery on his elbow as recommended by the three doctors he has seen this fall.

Man I hate that. When he is on, his stuff is incredible. We would have the best Friday/ Saturday guys in baseball

Great job, Scuba! Very good information. I appreciate your hard work and dedication.

Thanks Scuba!
I am cautiously optimistic, but we definitely will need the pitching staff to hold the rope and the new guys to settle in quickly at the plate.
Jake has to lead us with consistency this year. Hope we see a little more power from him, too.
3 doubles, 2 triples, HR, 8 SB, and fewer K's - Maybe he's turned the corner and will have a breakout SO year.
Good avg, gap power, speed on the bases, looks very promising. The double he hit off Lange last night was a missile.
We're going to need offensive production from Pap to replace Scivicque's.
Breaux & Freeman both had 10+ steals - a good sign that we'll continue to run.

some good hitting stats there. Hopefully freshman can step up next year and produce some runs.

Our pitching staff is top 3 in the country, #1 if we somehow get Latz back this year
Hitting is middle of the road in SEC but will hopefully improve throughout the season
Still sticking with my earlier prediction: Host and Win a Regional, travel for Super, and lose due to facing better offensive team

years like this coming one we always seem to piece together something and end up higher than we should be. I'm hoping this happens again.

I was pleasantly pleased the last two games of the P-G World Series with how our freshmen infielders played defense. They made some really good plays.
Reid at third base has a cannon for an arm. Last night he fielded a slow, high chopper on the line near third base and easily threw the runner out at first.
The JC transfer at catcher, Romero, has a stronger arm than Papierski but he's not quite as accurate on his throws to second.

If the season started this weekend, I'd have Reid starting at SS.

Where has deichman mostly played in the field?
Posted on 11/10/15 at 12:05 pm to upgrade
He played second base in both of the WS games I attended.

Deichmann has been playing 2nd most of the fall, he has also been tried at 3rd and 1st.
