Well, I guess we're just getting caught up in semantics.
To me, stealing 3rd with 2 outs is more of a "virtually no point" scenario than stealing 3rd with 1 out. You'll often see managers sacrifice a guy to 3rd with nobody out because of the value in having a guy at 3rd with less than 2 outs.
In other words, my contention is that it wasn't a "stupid" move...just something I personally wouldn't have done.

Their pitcher has really settled down too. The only 2 hits he's given up the last 4 innings was a single by Hanover and he was caught stealing 2nd and the double to Landry which he got thrown out at 3rd.
