We better not. Any coach in highschool could win 9 games at lsu. Miles held us back. Without Miles screwing everything up we are about to go on a bama type run.

Hey dont let facts get in the way of your football ignorant opinion.

We didn't have elite talent in 2014 or 2015 and our 2015&16 nfl draft shows its.

2014 all sec 1st team.
1 olineman.
0 defensive players

2015 all sec 1st team
LF & VADAL
0 DEFENSIVE PLAYERS

Have any sanctioned polls been released? If not, how would someone know if we are overrated?

Well, it always gets some sucker to run to tigerdroppings to post the link, thus driving traffic to his articles.

Wow. While I hope you're right, let's just get through this season. We will know by week 6 where we stand going forward. There are too many unknown variables to crown them the next dynasty at the moment.

Eight players drafted those two years but all are still in the NFL I think. Jalen Collins, Danielle Hunters, La'El Collins, Kwon Alexander, Deion Jones aren't; too shabby. All SEC means nothing.

You only say that out of ignorance. Please point out all the elite talent at qb, dline, and oline. Football is won with a qb and in the trenches, and LSU hasn't had that.

This is very true, particularly at OT and middle of the defense. Plus, a lot of skill players talents have were not used effectively because of weak qb play.

Because Miles was never known much as a detail oriented guy I wonder if he had a cogent recruiting strategy to address needs.

Wait, so those recruiting classes don't count? Was Miles a star gazer who didn't recruit well? He was a great recruiter according to you.

Or did they just not produce enough to win? Oh, wait, they won plenty according to you.

So you're saying LSU's less-than-great results in 2014 & 2015 (not to mention 2016) were due to talentless teams that did better than expected?

247 rankings: 2014 =2, 2013=6, 2012=14 (2 SECW teams above), 2011=8
SECW finishes: 2016=3rd, 2015=4th, 2014=5th, 2013=3rd

So which FACTS are you cherry picking today (or falsifying)?

He was a great recruiter according to anyone with a brain. We had been gutted by draft eligible juniors.
Our entire offense was manned by true freshman and true sophomores.
The gap should've been closed by miles and he didn't. I'm just saying we didn't have the normal amount of experienced talent in 2014& 2015.

We had 4 players drafted in 2015. 5 in 2016.

At no point have i said this. In my initial post of that info I ended the post by saying.....

I agree we had unacceptable losses from 2014-2016.

The all sec selections and nfl draft prove it. Or are you cherry picking when nfl talent means something?

Miles was fired because of those year but we can admit that we had a gap in talent from 2014&2015 (which is miles' fault).

I'll take this as good news. Sallee is horrifically misinformed and misses the mark consistently during the season as he makes predictions and observations.

Total jackass...

you talk about NFL draft and then post All-SEC selections.

Which FACTS are you wanting to highlight?
2016= 5 players drafted
2015= 4 players drafted
2014= 9 players drafted
2013= 9 players drafted

so of those 13 draftees in 2015 and 2014, only 3 were All-SEC. I'd say that's an indicator of performance on the field, especially in SEC games. Not a lack of talent, which you used All-SEC numbers and NOT draft numbers to back you conclusions which you are passing on as FACTS.

In using both a-hole.

We had 4 players drafted of of our 2014-15 team. 1 1st team all sec players

We had 5 players drafted off of our 2015-16 team.
2 1st team all sec players.

2014= 9 players drafted
2013= 9 players drafted

These have frick all to do with the years altiger listed. Try to keep up.

You're using nfl players to say we underachieved then have problem when someone posts the nfl players drafted in 2015 &2016.

I'm blaming miles for the gap in talent.

I never mentioned our 2013-14 team. You did.
I mentioned our 2014 & 2015 teams.

It's really easy to proclaim LSU, every year as most overrated. Even on their best years, they have at best, a 50/50 shot of beating Bama. So that means for every year that they lose to Bama, they don't win the West, and don't win the SEC title.

It's a safe bet to say that LSU will not make the playoffs, not make the SEC title game, and not win the SEC West every year... based off of one game.

So how can you not overrate a team that's destined to have a winning season, with the possibility of no hardware a likelihood?

All I have to say otherwise is that I'm sure none of the teams that make the playoffs in any given year would enjoy or feel secure with LSU on their schedule. That's not exactly what I would call "overrated."

Dude we've had at least 3 losses every year since '11. It isn't just about one game

Because he is being an a-hole and had problem with facts.

He asked what was I making up today. Worry about your colostomy bag, not me.
