I told them what the real words were, but that some say "suck that tiger dick". They laughed their asses off. Same thing at Florida. In fact, at Florida they said our band kicks arse for playing that.

I appreciate the want for creativity, but that statement makes absolutely no sense. You can't censor the student section Roger, I'm sorry fella.
Censoring, no. Laughing at your immaturity, you bet. I guess saying "dick" gets you very excited....

and then you have this crusty part of the fanbase that apparently has never heard vulgar words uttered at a football game.
Please- Let's be serious.
Unless someone has the mind of a mentally-challenged cricket, they know the obvious difference between "vulgar words uttered at a football game" and 10,000 people chanting the same vulgar phrase in unison.
These little jackoffs WANT to be heard on national television- as evidenced by some of them on here saying it's just being "creative".
The world already has a surplus supply of mental midgets. Fight The Stupids, young people.

Then you must be deaf. I can hear it very clearly on the replay.
The only way you can "hear" it is if you know what they are saying. The first time that I sat in the student section I had no idea what they were saying. Let the students have fun.

I don't cheer it. I do enjoy people of your ilk that go ahead and jump to conclusions, try and put two and two together. It's amazing. You obviously know nobody in the military.
Speaking of immaturity, how does that feel to laugh at an "immature" individual based on your own sophomoric amusement? Irony at its finest.
Keep trying roger.

So you're calling yourself part of the "stupids?" Got it.

When you hear that song, you KNOW that the chant is in there
That's just it, I didn't. I had heard about the chant, but that was the first time ever that I heard it for myself, and I wasn't looking for it.
Either way, I hope it doesn't get the song banned - I don't buy into the "embarassing LSU" bit.

So you are not OK with that excuse, yet you follow it up with some "creative" and offensive language of your own...

"Midgets" is a highly offensive term.
Stay class, Oleheat!

thread full of lose.
Don't fan the flames. Let the old bags of hot air cry in here to one another, and then go to sleep thinking that they really changed something by posting their opinion online. They wont actually do anything because that means work and changing the status quo.
Tomorrow they will have forget about it; while they try to break the neighbors kids skate board to teach him a lesson about leaving his stuff outside.

well they certainly wouldn't be the first to do so.
I'd also like to point out that the more attention you want paid to it, the worse the situation is going to get instead of better. You're welcome to try and change the entire student section's morals, but last time I checked, LSU was a pretty good "party" college. Those are rowdy young people, and as stated earlier in this thread.....if it's done for notoriety or rebellious purposes....color me amazingly shocked at that revelation.

There are no conclusions to reach. Trash is trash.

Feels pretty good. A good laugh at the expense of fools helps get through the day. Those trapped in suspended adolescence do need some pity, however.

This.
I honestly never heard "suck that tiger dick" until I read about it on here. After that I listened for it, and heard it.

No offense, but you don't impress me, nor anyone else apparently, enough to care.

I pay (although it is an incredibly small amount) to go to these games, get there 3 hours early, and then stand for another 3 for a reason. I do this 7-8 Saturdays in the fall (instead of watching on TV) because I love the atmosphere that is created inside and outside the stadium by all the little things that add up to create an experience so unique that it can't be matched anywhere else. "Suck that tiger dick, bitch" may disgust some, but it also exhilarates others.
Please just stop. You aren't helping yourself look any more intelligent. If you think the words suck, dick, and bitch help the atmosphere of the stadium, then you are ignorant beyond help.

Get rid of the student section. Make them pay like everyone else. Want to see the game? Join the band.
That'll teach the spoiled little garbage-mouthed brats.

Nothing like having the verbal police think they can just take the student section and shut them up.
No. That's not it at all. My wife and I were talking about how the student section in that stadium is so into the game and without a doubt, fires up the players and for that matter, alot of us "crusty" people in attendance. I love it. My kids love it. Until you go "there". Then, it takes away from the swagger that you provide otherwise. I just believe that those few seconds of ignorance just aren't necessary in order to come across as an intimidating and rowdy force to reckon with for the opposing team.
