Bama's. deep route to sideline

Seems like this is the only passing play they run, but in multiple formations. LSU should play zone in the secondary because McCarron is throwing to certain spots toward the sidelines. Especially on 3rd down

I see Loston killing someone on this play. Very similar to his attempted late hit play against SC

A post route is to the center... Corner routes and flag routes are to the outside... A previous poster said it best. Do they run out routes to the center?

the posts are the things that kickers kick it in between. There are none of those on the sidelines, therefore, no post routes to the sidelines.

What I'm most concerned about is the chair route out in the flats.

they made a living on this play in the nc and will certainlly try so again. the thing is if the throw is accurate it's almost impossible to defend and i think mccarron probably practices that throw more than anything else. the best we can hope for is that he has a tough night accuracy wise and that we occasionaly make a play on that pass.

That long drag route seems to be AJM's comfort throw.
