Couldn't rush for 100 yards total dispite having the best back in the country. I guess we found out who has the best run D in the country.

couple of busted coverages gave him big yardage and had me holding my breath, but for the most part, the guys handled him. One big POP at the start of the game was hard enough to send the ball flying straight in the air (and sadly, out of bounds). They stuffed him at or behind the line quite a few times. I was really proud of the D!

Like I've said many times, it was a great battle and EXACTLY what I thought it would be. This crazy banter about high scoring, win by 2 touchdowns crap was not happening. It was two great defenses that had opportunities to make plays against 2 quarterbacks not having their best games. It was defense and special teams that won this game. The kicking game. Wow. They say defense wins championships. LSU may have one. Bama is a great team and will be successful this year. This LSU team has an opportunity to win it all.
