2 out of the last 3 years, we were the better coached team. Miles made mistakes, but his team had every chance to win. He did not have Copeland get a stupid PF, nor did he tell Alexander to push back Saturday. He definitely did not tell Domangue to kick it out of bounds. shite happens and we are snakebit at the moment against this team. Saban's wins in Tiger Stadium the last two years should be called what they were, luck.

bama is simply better in all facets of the game,
lsu is irrelevant 'til they can figure out how to beat bama

you have no idea what you're talking about.
see last year's Auburn game
this years Ole Miss and Arkansas games
take away the bad call bad kick and we probably win the game
you have NO IDEA of what kind of coach Miles is, you're an armchair QB who knows nothing and think you can judge the coach who has the best record in the history of LSU and most wins in the SEC since he started coaching
grow up

Posted by skullhawk Did you watch the game Saturday? How you can come away from that game and say Bama is clearly the better team and have the better coaches is beyond me.

since les kicked the ball out of bounds, I guess bama was coached better.

We are one of the few teams that compete with & beat Saban.
He may do a better job with QB scholarships but we do better with FG kickers

Bottom line is that all the small mistakes that happened prior to that kickoff should have made us more attentive to those little things even more. Us kicking the ball out of bounds leads me to think that we overlooked those things. There are other "ways" to kick the ball off to ensure that kicking it out of bounds never happens. Cant say we still would have won but it certainly created a mental collapse.

This myth [kicking the ball out of bounds] needs to die. It only gave them an extra 10 yards and maybe 5 seconds. They would have gotten in FG range regardless
What? 10 yards? 5 seconds?
Posted on 11/10/14 at 9:34 am to Coonass
It would have put 10 more yards on a struggling kicker with the world on his little shoulders.

You are ignorant, go now at the alter of Saban. This game was all about their QB making plays at the end of the game. If LSU wasn't so well coached, this would have been another Auburn debacle.

You don't seem to know what a "fact" is

that was one of the worse bama teams i've seen in a long while and we still couldn't beat them in tiger stadium at night
coaching plus execution = bama
grass eating coach plus choking = lsu
coaching plus execution = bama
grass eating coach plus choking = lsu

This. They knew exactly wanted they wanted to do on their last drive and in OT. And they executed. Miles only does one thing better than lil nicky and that is humor us.

I do agree that it was a non factor. THey are in FG range even if we boot that ball out of the endzone

"Bama is simply coached better"
Well, of course they are. Bama is, generally speaking, better coached than any team in America. I realize that Saban and Bama are in our division, but this should not be that big a deal to Tigers. It is extremely rare that you will have the BEST-coached team in college football. Most agree that team is Alabama. We still have a very well-coached team when you take into account everything that goes into "coaching" and in a given game, the Tigers are often at least as well prepared to play. So, is Bama better coached than us? Probably so, but so what.

You chicken little mf'ers. If we had stopped Bama on the last drive and won 13-10, would you be starting threads saying "LSU is clearly the better, superior coached football team. Alabama should consider firing Nick Saban."
