Just watched again. Looks like JJ touches the ball while out of bounds. That makes the ball dead. I'd never even considered this possibility until this thread. Oh well.

Looking at that chart, GeeOh, it is apparent Nick Saban's teams are much more disciplined!

Oh wait, Saban's numbers where just as high at LSU.

All of you are pathetic complaining about the officials and the Patrick Peterson INT. Yes it was an interception but it would have taken a bluegrass miracle for us to score that night.

LSU has benefited big time as well. See the Corey Webster interception in the 3rd qtr with Alabama leading 10-6 and would have made it 17-6 except for the lucky no call.

Yes, I skipped a play that wouldn't have happened if we were correctly given the ball

You're the world's greatest detective

Probably not, but there is absolutely ZERO way one can make a definitive statement like that in a 1 score game with decent field position

Kinda like you can't make a definitive statement that JJ didn't touch the ball out of bounds before PP had secured the ball, which backs your argument way back to square one.

ritter and crew will be doing the bama game

Does anyone know if Ritter and crew were the ones who missed the obvious push in back of Deion Jones allowing Florida to return punt for TD?

If so LSU fans need to call SEC Commish office in Birmingham and bitch that we don't want those no calls again and Ritter should be substituted with other Refs

I can, because you can not show one clear picture of him touching the ball.

Not surprising that you'd pick the wrong side of this and argue it into the ground though. And yes, there is a definitively wrong side do this.

Solid logic. You're right, I can't prove a negative. There has yet to be a definitive picture showing him with even a finger on it.

LSU's win probability after that play was .11.

With the interception, it doubles to .22.

Laughable how you discount the impact it had on the game. Turnovers are huge in football, and your argument shows how little you know

No, he is not a Bama alumnus. His boss, Steve Shaw, is a Bama alumus.

That to me should disqualify him from reffing in the SEC.

You are not allowed to officiate the game involving a school that you attended. However you are allowed to officiate other SEC games.

Video looks like he touched it while PP was attempting to secure the ball. That's an incomplete pass.

then post a picture that clearly shows him touching it first. If it's that obvious this should be an easy task. Neither you or the other troll has been able to do it.

I did.

Can you not see #8's right arm extended in front of PP as the ball arrives ?
No. If that's when, then there is no out of bounds anyway.

Keep it boys and girls! This needs full attention. SEC officials are both incompetent and corrupt and dark forces will do their best to influence the game with bad officiating. It is what it is. And there should be even more outrage over it.

Then why didn't the refs call it that way?

Since they didn't, the entire argument is retarded.

The average SEC ref flags LSU 6.86 times for 56.63 yards, and has a penalty margin of 1.77-15.51. That's, as we've established above, the worst in the SEC. Ritter seemed to take that as a challenge and he flags LSU an average of 10.14 times for 81.86 yards at a ridiculous margin of 5.29-38.00.

If you remove Ritter from LSU's averages, LSU gets flagged 6.06 times per game for 49.86 yards at a margin of 1.00 times for 10.89. Still a bad ratio, but it lops off nearly five yards of penalty yard margin from LSU's average. Nearly a third of LSU's penalty margin comes from the games Ritter officiates.

Also, look at the number of LSU games Ritter has worked. He is far and away the least friendly ref to LSU, yet he has worked more LSU games than anyone. Only Owens' crew is in the same ballpark. If LSU fans really want to talk conspiracy, note that the only referee that seems to call a game in LSU's favor has only worked 2 LSU games, and none since September of 2013.
