Been reading their boards and they are disappointed U of H did not hire Kiffin. They feel Lane is done at Bama with Saban. Saban keeps saying he supports Lane moving to a HC job, nothing about another OC somewhere else.

Summary: Saban wants Lane gone after this year and does not want him going to LSU. I'd like to see how our game with Bama plays out next year if Kiffin comes on as OC at LSU. It would give Orgeron his dream team of coaching to see what they can do. If successful Kiffin's stock rises more for a HC job.

Bama fans are prepping for NC #17. They are not concerned who we hire at OC.

You mean Saban does not want Kiffin to leave and go to his biggest rival?
How ironic

Applewhite to Houston and Strong or Randy Shannon likely to USF makes this a real possibility

If he turns the LSU offense into a scoring machine, he may stay one year. If he helps beat Bama in t town, look out. He gone.

Absolutely untrue. We don't care where Lane ends up after participating in Saban's Rehab Center for Wayward Coaches.

We wish him the best but there is no way coach Kiffin is headed to LSU. It's not just a lateral, it's a backward pass which would make no sense to him. Other than more freedom at play calling (and not getting yelled at), there is no upside. He already makes great money, so LSU will have to pony-up. His stock will actually drop if LSU ends up with a season like the Tigers just finished.

He will go where he goes; Bama fans appreciate his work. But let's be clear, Nick already has an OC-in-waiting. Many of us would love to see how Sark runs the offense.

Love the Bama envy though... keep it up and ROLL TIDE!!

Nah, not really.

Saban has proven time after time that he brings in the best coaches. Honestly, I'd like to see us get back to Bama football. We would have won the title in 2014 had we run Henry 25 times against the Buckeyes. Not only did we not run on a team that we could run on all night, we didn't control the clock which enabled tOSU to have many more possessions than they should have had. Hell, we'd have beaten LSU pretty bad this year had we just ran it every play. Too pass happy for our liking.

You think more of your program than we do. You can get him. With O's lack of ability to keep him on a leash you will be back in 1992. O will not keep him down like Saban. We are concerned with Auburn's possible moves. They have been our biggest problem. LSU hasn't been as much of an issue as Ole miss.

@CaptainFid

#1 I had lunch with a Bama grad and fan yesterday and she admitted they were and are scared of playing LSU every year. That's before any talk of Kiffin coming here.

#2 You all don't want him to come here because you've seen up close what he's capable of running an offense. He's a douche of a HC, but a pretty darn good OC and that's all we need him to be. No need to set the world on fire.

JUST SCORE 11 Points and we would have beaten Bama this year.

I'm sure kiffin can sleep better now knowing that loser bama fans whose entire identities comes with wins and losses instead of their own relationships and bank accounts appreciate his service
